It does not duplicate the broader platform documentation set.

Core Product Position

  • the main organization portal remains the source of truth for Emali balances, till balances, and platform-settled money
  • POS handles operational retail activity: checkout, inventory, loyalty, promotions, terminals, cashier sessions, receipts, and branch reporting
  • only Emali tenders affect the platform ledger
  • cash, external card, external mobile money, and loyalty redemption remain POS operational tenders
